Summer
Reading - 2006
Summer time is a good time for children to READ, READ, and READ books! Teachers have selected books as required summer reading for Grades K-5 (see below). Books are available at the Public Library or at the local book stores. When school resumes in August, students will be expected to have completed the reading log and share the content of the books read for a grade. Also, a project will be done in class as a culminating activity for the Independent Summer Reading Program. The class with the greatest number of participants, above 90%, will receive a pizza party.
Don't forget... Have a happy and safe summer and READ, READ, READ, and READ some more!
